Blog Post Written By: Melrose Michaels

This week's blog post delves into a topic that I'm particularly passionate about - optimizing processes to maximize your time. As an adult content creator, you want to ensure that you are being as effective as possible when it comes to creating, repurposing, and distributing your content across various platforms. In this blog, we will be discussing strategies that can be applied to both SFW and NSFW content.

If you're new here, I recommend checking out our previous Twitter Space or blog post on establishing a SFW forward-facing brand. This will give you a foundation to build upon and ensure that you have identified your target audience and SFW niche. However, if you're already on your way to building a SFW brand, this blog post will provide you with valuable insights on how to create content effectively, repurpose it, and distribute it across different platforms to scale your brand. So, let's get started on the strategies to optimize your content creation for your SFW brand.

SFW Content

The general guideline you’re going to follow for SFW is this:

  • Long-form content (10-20min video)

    • This can be a video podcast, a video blog, a video try-on haul, a video workout tutorial, or whatever video you’d create for youtube regarding your forward-facing SFW brand.

  • Audio only podcast

    • Depending on what your long-form video was, you can pull strictly the audio from it and repurpose it for a podcast.

  • Written blog

    • You can use OtterAI to transcribe your youtube video or audio from your podcast and utilize that for a written blog on your personal website. This is going to start building your SEO on search engines & make discovering you online easier the more you post.

  • Short-form video

    • Taking the top highlights from your long-form video, you can reformat them into cropped vertical videos, and make 5-10 Reels, TikToks, & Youtube shorts. I like using the InShot app for this process personally.

  • Still shots/Photos

    • Using your original long-form video, you can grab ‘still shots’ or ‘screenshots’ to pull photos, & thumbnails to repurpose that same content into images to use on Twitter & Instagram. ProTip: you can hire people off Fivrr for like $20 to turn those stills into funny memes which perform great on Twitter & IG.

Long Form SFW Content

Understanding how to apply an outline is crucial when creating content. Let's use an example of a fitness brand to demonstrate how to utilize it effectively. As a forward-facing brand, your content should align with your brand values and target audience. In this case, creating step-by-step workout tutorials filmed in the gym would be appropriate. Once you have filmed a 10-minute workout video, it can be uploaded to YouTube. By doing so, you have created long-form video content that aligns with your brand and can be marked off your content checklist.

Audio Only Podcast

Next, you’re going to pull the audio from that video for the ‘workout with me’ podcast you want to launch. You can accomplish this using editing software such as Premiere Pro by deleting the video content and exporting only the audio as an MP3 file. Once you have your audio file, you can import it into Spotify for Podcasters (previously known as Anchor.fm). This app allows you to add sound effects, voiceovers, and an intro or outro to your podcast. It also serves as a platform to publish your podcast, which will be distributed to various podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Google, and of course, Spotify. To encourage your audience to rate and review your podcast, it's important to include a call to action before publishing. Keep in mind that Spotify now allows video podcasts on their platform, so if you're eligible, you can upload the entire video without having to extract the audio. With just one piece of original long-form content, you can easily publish a 10-minute podcast episode.

Written Blog

One of the easiest ways to improve your online presence and build your brand is by creating written content. But for many content creators, the idea of sitting down and writing a blog post can seem daunting. Fortunately, there's a simple hack that can help you turn your existing long-form video or podcast content into a written blog post with minimal effort. All you need is a transcription tool like OtterAI (or any of the numerous AI-powered options available) to transcribe every word of your original content into written form. Then, take a few moments to edit and rework the transcription into a written version of your tutorial or discussion, and post it on your website as a new blog post. Not only will this strategy help you produce more content quickly, but it can also greatly benefit your SEO efforts, making it easier for potential customers to discover you and your brand online. So why not give it a try and see how it can help you take your content to the next level?

Short Form SFW Video

The era of short-form videos has arrived, and it's time to get creative with your content. If you have a long-form workout video that you want to repurpose, there's a simple way to do it using the InShot app. This app allows you to take your original 10-minute video and reformat it into a 9:16 vertical video using the 'canvas' feature. The next step is to select the best parts of your video, or the 'highlights,' and save them as 1-minute or less clips in vertical video format. These clips can then be uploaded onto popular platforms like TikTok, IG Reels, and YouTube shorts. To break down a workout video into short-form content, simply focus on one workout set per clip, such as squats, lunges, or kickbacks. With this approach, you can easily generate between 1-10 vertical video clips that are perfect for use on social media. So go ahead and get creative with your content, and start generating short-form videos that will engage and inspire your audience.

SFW Still Shots/Photos

In the world of social media, content creation is everything. One way to spice up your content is by taking still shots or screenshots from your original long-form videos. By doing so, you can capture specific moments and use them in various ways. For instance, if you're sharing a workout video, still shots can showcase good form to your followers on Instagram. Alternatively, you could post a funny face still shot on Twitter and ask your fans to caption it. Another fun idea is to hire someone from Fiverr to turn your still shots into memes. Posting these on social media can increase engagement and help you connect with your audience by showing them that you don't take yourself too seriously. The possibilities are endless, so get creative with your still shots and start experimenting with new ways to engage your followers!

The reason for outlining this process is to showcase how efficiently you can create content for an entire week on all social media platforms. In just four to six hours, you can shoot and edit a YouTube video, transcribe it for blog posts, resize and reformat it for shorter versions, capture stills for screenshots, and schedule all of it. By investing approximately six hours of your time, you can optimize your brand across social platforms by consistently updating your YouTube channel, posting a weekly blog, and uploading to TikTok, IG reels, and YouTube shorts on a daily basis. You can also share pictures or memes on Twitter and Instagram daily. Following this approach, you can significantly improve your social media presence and keep your audience engaged with your content. Look at you crushing it!

Now - I know what you’re wondering…

"How do we do that for our NSFW brand?" The process is similar. You can take the SFW outline above and apply it to your NSFW content.

NSFW Content

The general guideline you’re going to follow for NSFW is this:

  • Long-form content (10-20min video)

    • This long-form video will be your full-length explicit content

  • Trailer (1min or less)

    • This is just a simple re-edit of your explicit, to make an enticing trailer video to tease your content.

  • Audio only for ASMR

    • Strip your long-form video to pull audio to only have an ASMR version

  • Written content

    • Transcribe your video and utilize the storyline for either an erotic story or a sexting script you can use in DMs with fans

  • Short form video

    • Taking the top highlights from your long-form video, you can reformat them into cropped vertical videos, and use any SFW ones for Reels, TikToks, & Youtube shorts. I like using the InShot app for this process personally, use NSFW vertical videos to upload on SexDotCom, RedGifs, your Premium Snapchat, or your OnlyFans Stories

  • Still shots/Photos

    • Using your original long-form video, you can grab ‘still shots’ or ‘screenshots’ to pull photos and thumbnails to repurpose that same content into images to use as photosets on your adult platforms, as well as NSFW Twitter pics & SFW Instagram pics. ProTip: you can hire people off Fiverr for like $20 to turn those NSFW pictures into funny memes which perform great on Free OnlyFans pages.

Long Form NSFW Content

While the process for creating content remains mostly the same, the difference lies in where the content is published. For the sake of consistency, we will continue to use a fitness example. The first step is to create a long-form video, which, in this case, is an explicit video that is typically posted on a clip store or fansite. Let's assume that the content creator has a safe-for-work fitness brand, but the explicit video they create is of the "I got naughty with my personal trainer" variety. Once the video is filmed, edited, and customized, it can be published on OnlyFans or other clip stores. And just like that, you have a new explicit video. But what's next?

Trailer

Before we get ahead of ourselves, I’d like you to re-edit that explicit video so you have a teaser or trailer for it. I’d suggest making sure the teaser is safe for work, this way you can use it on your Free OF to tease people into paying or unlocking the actual full-length explicit video. These teasers are great for posting to PornHub for traffic or on your socials to entice new subs. Now you have a trailer for your explicit video with little extra work.

Audio Only For ASMR

Now that you have your full-length explicit video and trailer, you can strip the audio. Something few creators do is realize that their audio can be used as ASMR-type content, or again, to entice fans to purchase or unlock the full-length explicit video. Sometimes after I’ve filmed an explicit clip for OnlyFans, and I go to edit my trailer, I realize there wasn’t enough SFW footage to create a non-explicit trailer. What I do instead is use the audio only as my trailer. In the InShot app, you can extract your video’s audio, add a photo, stretch the photo to the length of the video, and delete the actual video footage. This way your ‘trailer’ is just a still photo of you with the video audio playing under it. Your fans can listen to the video for free - but if they want to watch it, they’ll have to unlock or upgrade to your VIP page.

Another way to use stripped audio is to clip the ‘moaning’ sections of your content into small audio clips and save them as MP3s. These can be fantastic to use in PPVs or DMs on your fansite during sexting sessions to spice up and intensify your fan's experience. Think about how many PHENOMENAL audio clips you could extract from your video library. You’re likely sitting on a gold mine. Boom! Now you have an ASMR piece of content, or short audio clips to use in PPV DMs.

Written Content

Let’s talk about how you can transcribe your explicit content and use it in written form. You can again use something like OtterAI to transcribe your explicit video to have it in writing. This text can be repurposed into a written erotic story or reworked into a sexting script to use in DMs. Most of my explicit videos have a storyline, this is something I do to make my content more interesting since most of it is solo. This means it’s really easy to pull an erotic story or sexting script from the video content I make with only a little extra effort. You can post the written erotic story to your fansite feed as written content, and you can save your sexting scripts in a Google doc to have handy for when you’re uninspired in your DMs. Now you have written erotic story content and sexting scripts to use in PPV DMs.

Short Form Video

Next, let’s take your original long-form explicit video, import it into the InShot app, and turn it into vertical clips to use. If you have some SFW footage in your explicit video (maybe before you get into the naughty stuff) you can definitely still clip that to IG Reels and YouTube Shorts. WARNING: It likely will get your TikTok deleted no matter how PG it is so I’d skip that platform. However, you still want to clip vertical videos of your favorite NSFW highlights, because those vertical video clips can get posted to SexDotCom, which is basically an NSFW TikTok with TONS of organic traffic, and you’ll also want to post that vertical NSFW clip to RedGIFs for when you want to promote yourself on Reddit and share your content highlights. Now you have vertical video clips to promote yourself on SexDotCom, & RedGIFs to increase the exposure of your adult brand.

Still Shots/Photos

Grabbing stills from adult content is something a lot of creators already do. But Throat Goddess (one of our very own #CEOsquad members) taught me about the app Frame Grabber in the App Store or in the Google Play Store, which gets you extremely high-quality screenshots of your videos. These can be used to post to your platforms as photosets, as well as using those photos on Twitter if NSFW, or even IG if you can get a few SFW ones from your content. Again, the same meme logic can also be applied because I used to get NSFW memes made to post to my VIP page feed for a long time and my fans loved it. Those NSFW meme posts were some of my most engaging feed posts of all time.

Let's summarize what it takes to create a week's worth of explicit content. It starts with a long-form explicit video that requires approximately four hours of filming and editing. From there, the audio is extracted and clipped, and the video is transcribed and reworked. Additionally, stills are taken from the video to create photosets, which can then be turned into memes. With these components, you can schedule the release of the explicit video on your fan site on Monday and the photoset on Wednesday. You can also use the moaning sound bites from the audio in DMs to engage with your subscribers and potentially attract new ones. By following this process, you can produce a significant amount of explicit content while increasing your exposure and enticing new subscribers with NSFW promotion on SexDotCom, RedGIFs, and Twitter.

I love to optimize how I film and rework content because it can feel VERY overwhelming to produce content at scale. As someone who films daily, I know this personally. But if you maximize the ways you can USE that single piece of content, whether it's SFW or NSFW, you’re going to start to see you have SO MUCH MORE at your disposal than you realize. That also means you likely have LOTS of repurposing you can do even just on your current library of content as well. Imagine the possibilities!

Distribution

Let's discuss the topic of distribution for content creators. With the various platforms available, scheduling posts in advance can be a great way to save time and keep your audience engaged. For instance, scheduling posts on fan sites and clip stores is possible, as is the case with Twitter through tools such as Tweetdeck. Instagram allows for the scheduling of posts and reels directly within the app. For YouTube, videos can be scheduled to publish at specific times, as can reels. And with TikTok, drafts can be saved for later publishing. By taking advantage of these scheduling options, up to 90% of your content can be pre-scheduled, freeing up your time for other tasks.

Have you ever considered creating content at scale to free up your time and give you more flexibility? Imagine a world where you film only during the first week of each month, creating one safe-for-work (SFW) long-form video and one not-safe-for-work (NSFW) explicit long-form video each day for five days (Monday to Friday). By doing this, you would have five weeks of SFW social content and five weeks of NSFW content for your adult platforms. This means that after just one week of hard work, you could be hands-off with your businesses, aside from engaging in comments, responding to DMs, and replying to texts on SextPanther - the things that have to be done live in real-time.

Moreover, if you continue filming at this pace for an entire month, you would have 20 YouTube videos and 20 adult videos, giving you five months of consistent weekly content on each platform. The best part is that you would have done all this in just one month of hard work. Can you imagine having over a year's worth of content at your disposal, allowing you the freedom to take time off for school, family, travel, hobbies, or anything your heart desires? It can even help during those times in life we can't prepare for...unforeseen circumstances like an accident or illness. Having a cache of content to fall back on can help you plan for your future, ease stress and allow the space to cultivate more creativity.

While this approach may not work for everyone, it should at least open your mind to how much content you can create at scale if push came to shove or if you wanted to take time off as a creator while still being active and seemingly live across all platforms. So, consider this content creation strategy and see if it works for you.

Conclusion

Repurposing content is a great way to maximize the value of the content you've already created and use it to grow your brand. Depending on your brand, there are countless ways to repurpose content, such as turning written blogs into weekly newsletters, creating infographics from still-frame screen captures, or repurposing long-form videos into gifs and slide decks for brand pitches. Pinterest is a massively underrated platform to grow your audience and monetize your content. By rethinking how you approach your content and leveraging what you've already made, you can scale your business and achieve success in a variety of different ways. So, start exploring new ways to repurpose your content and get excited about the possibilities it can bring for your brand!
