When you enter the platform, you're greeted with a chat box at the bottom of the screen, along with various suggestion prompts. These prompts serve as a starting point and can be accessed via a small icon in the top right corner, leading you to a diverse prompt library. However, for a more tailored script, youāll likely want to craft your own prompt.
Crafting Your Initial Prompt
To illustrate the power of custom prompts, I demonstrate creating a script for a specific type of video, known as a "JOI" video. By entering a custom promptā"Write me a JOI video script"āI set the stage for more detailed instructions. Fine-tuning your prompt enhances the resulting script. For instance, I specify, "include a lot of edging and speak in a dominant tone." Fine-tuning like this ensures that the script aligns closely with your vision.
Reviewing Generated Responses
Once you submit your prompt, GPTease offers you two responses. These are divided into two categories for clarity:
Instructional Response:
This appears on the left side of the screen. Focusing on delivering exactly what was requested, this response tends to be straightforward and aligned closely with the given prompt.
Creative Response:
Displayed on the right side, this response takes a bit more liberty with your prompt, offering innovative and potentially out-of-the-box content.
Before moving forward, I emphasize the importance of reviewing these responses thoroughly. Only after selecting one can you proceed with further prompts or actions.
Making Your Selection
To continue refining your script, you first select one of the responses. This selection process is crucial because attempting to add instructions without choosing a response will be blocked by a black box prompt. Once you make your choice, the selected response takes over the entire screen for further revision.
Refining Your Script
After making your selection, GPTease offers several options to manage your script. At the bottom of the screen, you'll find various icons:
Copy Icon:
This feature allows you to copy the script, which is especially useful for transferring it to a teleprompter app or any other tool where you can finalize and rehearse your script.
Share Icon:
You can share the generated script with peers. This feature provides options to share the entire conversation, specific prompts and responses, or just the final response. You generate a shareable link and distribute it as needed.
Revisiting Previous Results
An often overlooked but valuable feature in GPTease is the ability to revisit unselected responses. By clicking on the one-two icon, you access any prior scripts generated by the AI. This ensures that creative ideas are never lost, even if they arenāt initially selected for primary use.
